Refund Policy

Effective 2026-08-13. Last updated 2026-08-13.

Vendeflect is billed in advance, so cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period. This policy sets out our 14 day goodwill window on first purchases, the statutory rights that override it for UK and EU consumers, how Paddle processes refunds as merchant of record, and what is not refundable.

1.How billing works

Vendeflect subscriptions are charged in advance for the interval you choose, monthly or yearly. Because you are billed for a period before you use it, cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the period you are already in. This policy explains when we will nonetheless offer a refund, and the rights you have that override it.

2.Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: your plan keeps working until then, and it is not renewed afterwards. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period.

3.14 day goodwill window on first purchases

As a stated goodwill position, if you are unhappy with your first paid subscription to Vendeflect, you can request a refund of that first charge within 14 days of the purchase. This applies to a first purchase, not to renewals, and is separate from any statutory right you may have.

4.Statutory rights for UK and EU consumers

If you buy as a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period. Those rights override anything narrower in this policy. Where you have asked us to start the service immediately, your withdrawal right may be reduced to reflect the part of the service already provided, as the law allows. Nothing in this policy removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law.

5.How refunds are processed

Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for Vendeflect and processes refunds back to your original payment method. Because refunds route through the payment networks, there are outer time limits set by those networks:

  • Card payments can be refunded to the card for transactions under 120 days old.
  • PayPal payments can be refunded for transactions under 179 days old.
  • Beyond those windows the payment provider cannot return funds to the original method, and any agreed refund has to be arranged another way.

6.Annual plans and pro rata

Annual plans are billed once for the year. Outside the goodwill window and any statutory right, we do not automatically refund the unused part of an annual term when you cancel; your plan simply runs to the end of the paid year. Where we do agree a refund on an annual plan, we calculate it pro rata for the unused whole months, less any period already used.

7.Add-ons

Add-ons, such as questionnaire packs and AI answer packs, add capacity to the current period. Once any of the capacity from an add-on has been used, that add-on is not refundable. An add-on that has been purchased but not used at all falls under the same goodwill window as a first purchase.

8.What is not refundable

  • AI answers that have already been drafted and consumed against your quota.
  • Add-on capacity that has already been used.
  • Billing periods that have already elapsed, outside the goodwill window or a statutory right.

9.How to request a refund

Email support@vendeflect.com from the address on your account, with the workspace name and the charge you are asking about. We aim to respond within 3 business days. If a refund is agreed, Paddle processes it to your original payment method subject to the network limits above.
